Owner / ‘Diplomatic Fire Fighting Cat Herder’

Stuart Bollock is the proud owner of Bollock Enterprises. He's done it all here at Bollock, and he's been with the countertop store full-time since 1984 and part-time for many years before that. He graduated from Purdue University, and before working at Bollock, he worked at a restaurant briefly. Stuart firmly believes that EVERYONE should work in a restaurant at least once in their life. "If you don’t learn to be a patient, understanding, humble, respectful, honest productive human being, you didn’t work there long enough," says Stuart.

Stuart married his beautiful strong, outgoing, charismatic (and patient) wife, Mary Lee, over 30 years ago, and is a father to two "talented and overly quick-witted" sons. He also has a beautiful, charming, enigmatic and seriously entrepreneurial daughter-in-law, Carrie, who has brought a whole new refreshing way of viewing life into their family. Last but not least, his very vocal, demanding, protective Scotties: Darcy and McDuff. Finally, Stuart's personal interests include volunteer ministry work, photography, gardening, genealogy, spending time with the family and his best bud, Rob, and, "making sure my Scottish Terriers are constantly reminded that they indeed the center of the universe and reminding myself that by their good graces, I’m a member of their world."

Personal Philosophy: "Many years ago, a prospective customer of ours had a project that was beyond our scope of expertise. After I told him I would rather turn down his offer than to do a poor job or disappoint him, he said something that I have always remembered: "A wise person knows their limitations" Although not extremely prophetic, this quote reflects the philosophy of the owners and staff of Bollock Enterprises. We always strive to provide the best customer service in greater Lafayette, the best of materials available to us, and the best of product knowledge we can give our customers, not promising what we cannot honestly deliver. Many of our customers have come back time and time again, knowing that they will receive 100% in materials and service from all of us here at Bollock Enterprises."

Derrick Capper

Assistant General Manager

Derick Capper, Assistant General Manager, grew up in the Monticello area and graduated from Ivy Tech in 2010 with an Associate's Degree in HVAC. His job includes scheduling installs and field measures as well as helping in production and installs as needed. He has three years of sheet metal fabrication experience and has worked at Bollock Enterprises for over four years. He enjoys hiking, sports, traveling, and spending time with his two younger brothers.

Personal Philosophy: "Measure twice, cut once."

Don Stidham

General Manager

Don Stidham, General Manager, keeps production running smoothly and works to ensure customer satisfaction at Bollock Enterprises. Don has worked with several different types of countertops and cabinets for the past 30 years. He worked at Bollock for 14 years, owned his own countertop business in Florida for 15 years, and is now back on the Bollock team!

In his free time, Don enjoys fishing, traveling to new destinations, and spending time with his wife of 28 years.

Personal Philosophy: "Life is too short to be serious!"

Martha Klopfenstein

Sales Associate

Martha Kopfenstein, Sales Associate, has been with Bollock Enterprises for three years. She was originally hired as a bookkeeper, and was taught common closet design practices which she implements in designing custom closets. She has five years of sales experience and has previously worked at a used bookstore, at Kitchen Art, and as a barista. She loves collecting books (mainly those that are readable or useful), reading said books, painting, and sewing the odd dress or two. She has one crazy, adorable dog and one sweet lizard.

John Brody

Field Technician

John Brody, Field Technician, has been installing countertops, cabinets, and closets for 20 years. He started by sweeping floors and has worked his way up to Lead Installer. John is a member of Cambria University - Installers Track. He enjoys building furniture, and spending time with his beautiful wife and two awesome dogs!

Personal Philosophy: "Don’t start if you can’t finish it."

Jeff Brody

Field Technician

Jeff Brody, Field Technician, has been working in the industry for over a decade. At Bollock Enterprises, you will usually find him measuring for countertops and closet systems. Jeff's personal interests include electronics and automotive, and he is married and has one cat!
